East Midlands innovation Festival, various venues, 12th March/23rd April 2010
The 2010 East Midlands innovation Festival (iFestival) will take place over a six-week period and will involve businesses, universities and public sector organisations from across the region. An annual event, co-ordinated by the East Midlands Development Agency (emda) and East Midlands Innovation, the iFestival was first staged in 2007; last year it featured 177 events attended by more than 20,000 people. This year, it will begin with an innovation EXPO (iEXPO) and will include four core events linked to innovation networks (iNets) for food and drink, healthcare and bioscience, sustainable construction and transport.
